Care Have is a Senior In-Home Care Agency, providing non-medical services for seniors in the comfort of their own homes. We are not another national franchise. We are locally owned and operated, bonded and insured, and a non-medical agency.

What are Care Haven’s goals?

Care Haven Agency strives to improve the quality of life and level of independence for every client and family receiving our services. Or goal is to help seniors stay independent in their homes and live the lifestyle they deserve. We achieve results together as a team work by always being there to take care of our clients and their needs, with our genuine, caring and skilled Caregivers. All our Caregivers are continuously trained with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care so we can effectively and lovingly care for your loved ones. Our Caregivers have the skills, knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm necessary to provide you or your loved one with a wide range of services from advanced levels of personal care to safety supervision.

What if my parents don’t like the Caregiver they’re assigned?

We believe in providing the right personality match between the client and the Caregiver. There is NO Charge to switch caregivers if they are not compatible. We will make sure that your parent’s and are caregivers are in-sync with their personalities.

I’m not sure whether my loved ones will be able to stay in their home or not, even if they have help.

We understand how overwhelming this decision may feel. We can assure you that the process of getting started on the right path will be beneficial as you begin considering your options. When the time comes that Seniors cannot live independently in their own homes, we will assist you in finding an Assisted Living Facility, or a Nursing Home to fit your budget and criteria at no extra cost to you. This will remove the stress of researching all the available facilities in your area. From personal experience, we know that many family members burdened with care-giving responsibilities find this process a very challenging and stressful one.

How can I tell whether in-home care is the best option?

At Care Haven, we work closely with families to guide them through the available options. It’s our passionate and compassionate commitment to people that sets us apart. We are always available to answer questions, and we work closely with your family to create a Care Plan that provides a perfect balance of service and value.

How do you ensure that the Caregivers are qualified?

Our clients and their families can have peace of mind knowing that we are providing caregivers with the experience and personalities that ensure stability and personal attention while providing the highest quality of care. We require all our caregivers to have a clean criminal background , finger printing checked, a valid driver’s license, proof of their auto insurance, good work ethic, a professional attitude, understanding, compassion, patience. Our caregivers are Certified Nurse Aids with experience, knowledge and training of Dementia and Alzheimer’s care. We can assure you that we will not put anyone in your home as a Caregiver whom we would not trust to care for our own family members. To ensure the best on-going care for your loved one, our management team makes scheduled and unscheduled visits to the client’s home while the caregiver is present to evaluate the quality of care, and to make sure the level of assistance provided offers the correct safety measures.

I want to take care of my family member myself. Can Care Haven provide some help?

Care Haven provides respite care on an as-needed basis. This will enable you as a family member to take some time off to maintain your own daily activities while meeting your loved one’s needs. We provide loving assisted living care in your homes while respecting your privacy and dignity. Our job is to adjust to your schedule and to keep your loved one comfortable in their home. We never compromise on providing high quality services to you and to your loved one.

I’m not sure what kind of services my family member needs.

Care Haven is dedicated to matching your needs with the right caregiver and will provide a detailed personal Care-Plan in order to meet your specific needs. Care Have can provide In-Home Care services from a few hours a day to 24-hour care, seven days a week and multiple shift care. Whatever your needs may be we are here for you Day/Night/Weekend/Overnights/Holidays and Respite for family caretakers.

My family members can manage most aspects of daily living, but I’m concerned about their nutritional needs. Can Care Haven help with meals?

Our Meals & Nutrition Services will help when the seniors are unable to shop, prepare meals or feed themselves because of any debilitating conditions. What’s more, both chronic and acute ailments often suppress the appetite even as they increase the body’s need for nutrients. Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other illnesses that affect mental functioning also have a profound influence on appetite and on the capacity to prepare and eat healthy meals. Family caregivers are also often at risk, neglecting themselves while they tend an ailing partner. You’ll benefit from our very compassionate and understanding caregivers. You don’t have to lift a finger; we’ll take care of your needs.

How does Care Haven work with my loved one’s doctor?

Our M.D. Coordinator will help organize all your doctors’ information records. We will accompany them on their medical appointments and update you with the doctor’s advice. These services offer you peace of mind, prevent overlapping tests and medications, and increase the effectiveness of medical care.

What’s the process? How do we begin?

Our experienced MD Coordinator will come to your home to conduct a FREE ASSESSMENT. We’ll discuss the options available your loved ones while remaining in the comfort of their own home. Sometimes a little assistance is all that is needed to live independently with dignity and pride.
